By using DollarVid, you agree to these terms. DollarVid is operated by an individual, not a registered company. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

The service

DollarVid turns a short text prompt into a 6-second AI-generated video. Each successfully generated video costs a flat $1 from your account balance — no subscriptions, no bonus credits, no fine print.

Accounts

Your account is created automatically from the email (or phone) you provide at checkout, or when you sign in with a one-time emailed link. There are no passwords.

Pricing, balance, and payments

• Every video costs exactly $1. The price never changes based on prompt, length, or demand.
• The minimum amount you can load onto your balance is $5, in whole dollars.
• Your balance never expires and is never converted to any other currency or credit type.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

Charges and refunds

• You are only ever charged for a video that finishes generating successfully.
• If your prompt is blocked by our content screening, you are not charged at all.
• If a video fails to generate for any other reason, the $1 is refunded to your balance automatically.

Acceptable use

You may not submit prompts that depict or request:

• Sexual or suggestive content involving anyone, or nudity.
• Any sexualization of minors, or minors in unsafe contexts.
• Graphic violence, gore, or glorification of self-harm or real-world atrocities.
• Hate or harassment targeting protected groups.
• Content promoting illegal acts or clear real-world harm.

You are responsible for what you submit and for how you use the videos you generate, including making sure you have the right to depict any real person, brand, or copyrighted work you reference in your prompt.

AI-generated content

Videos are produced by third-party AI models. Output can be unpredictable, inaccurate, or include visual artifacts, and won't always match your prompt exactly. DollarVid is meant for comedic, entertainment use, not as a source of factual or reliable imagery.

Your content

You own the videos you generate. By using the service, you grant us the ability to store and transmit them back to you as needed to provide the service.

No warranty, limited liability

DollarVid is provided "as is," with no warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you've paid us in the preceding 3 months.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these terms, including any attempt to abuse the acceptable-use rules above.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
